This website is operated by Coffee Tech Limited. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Coffee Tech Limited. Coffee Tech offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”). These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice. Prices for products on an order are fixed once your order has been accepted. Subsequent price changes either up or down will not be retrospectively applied to accepted orders.
Prices may be adjusted for any reason, and may vary at any time. Prices are set and we do not negotiate for any discounts. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars on the website and in any other correspondence.
Customers who wish to cancel any order must notify us by email by 10am on the next business day following the date of order. Once the package has been scanned by the courier company for pickup, our Returns Policy applies.
All product returns by customers, regardless of reason, are to contact us in the first instance via email.
We only accept returns for the following reasons:
a) Goods damaged prior to delivery
b) Goods with manufacturing faults
c) Goods supplied incorrectly
d) Goods that vary from their description on our website
If customers change mind, they can return within 14 days from the date they receive the goods, as long as the product is unused, undamaged and in its original unopened and sealed packaging.
Return freight costs are to be met by the customer, unless the product return is for a reason detailed above a)-d) in which case we will meet the courier costs.
The 14 day returns policy is not applicable to consumable items such as coffee beans, chocolate & cacao products, tea and cleaning items.
This policy is in addition to, and is not intended to limit, any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Damaged or Faulty Products
There are some exclusions to what a manufacturer’s warranty will cover, which include, but are not limited to, liquid damage, force damage, damage due to misuse, wear and tear, user inflicted damage, infestation, mould or mildew.
We will undertake to repair or replace any products damaged prior to delivery. Damaged of faulty products will be either repaired or replaced at our discretion.
Damaged and faulty products must be returned to us in accordance with our returns policy.
Every parcel we send out will have a tracking number. This number will also be emailed to our customers automatically when the tacking number is created.
We usually send orders out within 24 hours during the weekdays unless it is on back orders.
Security of your login information
You are responsible for keeping your login information, including your email address and password, secret and secure.
Without limiting the foregoing, you agree:
a) not to permit any other person to use your username or membership; and
b) not to disclose, or provide to any other person, your password, email address, date of birth or any other information in connection with your membership that may allow them to gain access to your membership.
Your information is safe with us. We will not misuse your data. We may collect and retain your personal information (such as your email address, name, phone number and mailing address) in order to process your order or meet any requests you may have. We may use your information for the following reasons:
a) to send news and information about our activities which we believe may be useful to you;
b) to process any queries you may have;
c) to assist in providing the services you request, including order processing;
d) to verify your identity.

You can access and update your personal information at any time. You can request to be removed from our mailing list by emailing us.
Security of Information
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. When you place an order online with our website, a secure server is used (SSL Encryption). We use industry standard data encryption for transmission of any personal information including credit card details you provide online.
Coffee Tech makes no warranty in respect of the effectiveness of encryption used, and we are not responsible for events arising from the unauthorised access of the information you provide. Accordingly, any information which you transmit to us is transmitted at your own risk.
