About this coffee:
Hacienda Barbara, owned by the Rogers Family, has been growing Specialty Coffee for 20 years in the best regions of Panama.
Our farms are located in Jaramillo and Piedra Candela regions. We are proud to have produced Best of Panama winning Catuais from both our farms:
· First Place 2016 (HB Jaramillo, Boquete)
· Second Place 2018 (HB La Huaca, Piedra Candela)
· First Place 2019 (HB Jaramillo, Boquete)
· And 2018 Fifth Place Geisha Washed (HB Jaramillo, Boquete)
Our farms elevations go from 1450 up to 1700 meters above sea level, which combined with volcanic soils and native trees shade create the ideal environment for growing top quality coffees.
As a Company we are known for being world pioneers in the Yeast fermentation process, with over 7 million pounds produced at our Beneficio Bajareque processing plant in Boquete.
